About Luqman
I have just finished Year 13 and I'm looking forward to doing a degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Birmingham.
I achieved A*s (8/9s) in GCSEs in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For my A-Levels, I am predicted As and A*s in my subjects (Maths, Biology and Chemistry).
With over a year of experience in tutoring, I have supported 5 GCSE students to improve through our weekly lessons and they have all gone on to achieve excellent grades. I have also worked with 2 primary school students to develop their understanding of basic Maths.

With over a year of tutoring experience, I have developed a simple but effective teaching style which involves:
- Checking the initial knowledge and ability of the student before lessons start, to allow us to measure progress
- Providing lesson to students on areas of weakness, guiding them through the content for the topic and supporting them with questions to allow them to practice and their confidence to grow
- Setting practice questions for homework to ensure students are confident with what they have learnt in lessons
- Regular check-up tests and quizzes to monitor their progress
I provide lessons in Maths, Biology and Chemistry at both A-level and GCSE level, as well as Physics at GCSE level. A typical lesson is 1 hour long (but this can be changed on request)
