About Emily
I am a dedicated student with a passion for helping others learn and succeed. I want to teach because I enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting younger students, and making learning approachable. Tutoring also allows me to raise funds for my upcoming trip to Nepal, where I will be working with and supporting local communities. This opportunity gives me the chance to give back while also developing valuable leadership skills. Additionally, I am working towards gaining a head start on NCEA Level 3 Outdoor Education, which reflects my commitment to challenge myself and grow through both academics and real-world experiences.

I create lessons that are clear, supportive, and adapted to each student’s learning style. I use step-by-step explanations, examples, and practice to build confidence. Lesson length is flexible, agreed upon with the learner. Although I hold no formal qualifications, I have experience teaching younger children and helping peers. My lessons are designed for students aged 14–15 and below, depending on academic level.
