About Arushi

Hi! I'm Arushi and I recently graduated last year with an ATAR of 94.05! I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce at Monash University, hoping to become a civil engineer or a financial dealer in the future. My favorite hobby is tennis, as nothing feels better than hitting a down the line winner during a match! I also have a passion for leadership and helping the community, being awarded the ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership and teamwork award!

About the lesson

What sets me apart as an English tutor is my ability to make the subject feel clear, structured, and even enjoyable—especially for students who find it overwhelming or vague. My teaching method is highly formulaic and step-by-step, helping students tackle all types of essays with confidence. Whether it’s text response, comparative, persuasive, or language analysis, I guide students sentence by sentence, word by word to ensure their writing is clear, cohesive, and high-scoring. I’ve developed a perfect structure that simplifies the writing process, helping students focus on expressing their ideas rather than getting lost in where to start. At school, I was known for my unique interpretations of texts, which helped my essays stand out for originality and depth. I encourage my students to think creatively too, showing them how to move beyond surface-level analysis and impress their examiners. My qualifications and experience: - Achieved a VCE English study score of 42 - Scored 100% or close to full marks on multiple essays in Years 11 and 12 - Have been tutoring for 6 months at a leading tutoring company Who are my lessons for? I tutor English for all year levels, from junior years up to Year 12. Whether your child is just beginning to learn essay writing or preparing for their final VCE exam, I offer structured, supportive guidance tailored to their level. How long are my lessons? Each lesson typically runs for 1 hour, however can be longer! :)
