About Jamika
I am a dedicated and resourceful educational professional. I taught first-second grade for seven years, and adult learners for the past five years. I have experienced an 80% success rate in my students' improvement in their public speaking, presentation, and writing skills. I track students' progress from beginning to end so they can also see the results for themselves. My method of tutoring and mentoring is listening to where I see the disconnect and utilizing resources and tact to find a way to bridge the gap. A typical lesson plan consists of hands-on and interactive activities and demonstrations. My lesson plans are catered to ELA learners, those struggling with reading, writing, and public speaking.
