About Catherine
Struggling with the rhythm of spoken French often feels like a barrier. You hear the sounds but the structure remains hidden behind a veil. I use my BEd in Second Language Teaching to dismantle these hurdles through structured role play and dialogue practice. Listening practice and reading comprehension serve as the foundation for our interaction.
I provide free access to my personal vocabulary and grammar notes for all students. Writing skills are refined through direct feedback on your specific output. You will find my approach involves a calm walk through the mechanics of the language.

French language nuances define my daily life. I hold a BEd from York University and have spent 13 years helping students master linguistic precision.
My teaching career spans 300 students including working professionals, hobbyists, and young learners. I focus on Canada official language needs, federal French exams, and French immersion support. Working with diaspora families remains a core part of my practice.
