About Mae
I am a dedicated singing teacher with 6 years of experience helping students discover and develop their unique voice. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice, which has shaped my strong foundation in vocal technique and musical understanding. My background allows me to guide students through multiple singing styles with confidence and creativity.
I teach across different genres while supporting each lesson with music theory, harmony, and active listening skills. Improvisation is also an important part of my teaching, helping students explore freedom and expression in their singing. These elements help learners understand music deeply rather than simply memorizing songs.
My lessons are always personalized to match the goals and ability of each student. I focus on building healthy vocal technique, breath control, pitch accuracy, and expressive performance. Students also learn how to connect emotionally with the music they sing.
I believe singing should feel inspiring and enjoyable while also building strong skills. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students grow with confidence and creativity. My singing lessons focus on building strong pitch accuracy, expressive delivery, and lasting vocal confidence. I guide learners step by step so they feel comfortable exploring their voice. Each session begins with vocal warm ups, breathing control, and simple exercises that strengthen tone and pitch stability.
For learners developing solo performance skills, I work on phrasing, vocal color, and emotional connection to the song. We study how musical storytelling, dynamics, and interpretation shape a memorable performance. Practice also includes rhythm awareness, articulation, and stage confidence.
Adult beginners receive a supportive and patient learning environment. I introduce clear techniques for pitch matching, vocal control, and steady breathing. Simple songs from different styles help build musicality while keeping the process enjoyable.
Students explore pop, classical inspired melodies, light jazz phrasing, and contemporary styles to expand vocal flexibility. This variety helps them understand how tone and expression change across genres.
Modern technology also supports our learning process. I use recording software so students can hear their progress clearly. Ear training apps help improve pitch recognition and listening skills. Pitch correction tools are used carefully as learning guides to track improvement and refine accuracy.
My goal is to help every singer develop a confident voice and a genuine love for singing.
