About Michelle
Slowly breaking down complex concepts is how I make sense of the world, much like untangling a dense proof in my work as a PhD candidate in Pure Mathematics. This methodical approach defines how I teach trigonometry, geometry, word problems, and arithmetic. Number sense is essential.
Mental math skills matter. Conceptual learning is my primary focus for the students I assist through statistics, probability, and algebra. SAT and ACT math prep requires clarity. Helping students move from confusion to comprehension is genuinely rewarding.
