About Paul
I have a great love for guitar. I have deviated from it with many other instruments but it is the one instrument I love the most and can never put down. My first 3 degrees were in guitar performance and I am currently applying for a PhD in cognitive mechanics based completely on guitar.
I am a working musician with experience in weddings, corporate, bars, large events and have regular work with hotels and corporations around the world. I have also played bass on many recording sessions and international bands with residencies in Dubai, Australia, Asia and Europe.
I also sing professionally and have a few vocal students.
I also teach wind instruments (mainly sax).

Lessons focus on tailoring tricks to help students develop their own style in any genre. I am a firm believer in teaching students to teach themselves through self analysation and correction. I specialise in improvisation, building a better technique using your own natural ability and ear training using your own playing.
Learning to self analyse and self correct using micro adjustments and awareness are a key focal point of my lessons. Learning why you do something and how to apply it instantly is very important to fast and consistent progress.
