About Lydia
I am a passionate piano tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, specializing in piano. With over nine years of teaching experience, I have worked with both school-aged students and adult learners. I enjoy helping each student reach their personal musical goals, whether learning for fun, exams, or performance. My lessons blend academic training with practical experience across jazz, pop, and classical genres. I focus on building strong technical foundations while nurturing creativity and expression. Sight-reading, improvisation, and repertoire selection are key parts of my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and interests, making learning enjoyable and engaging. I emphasize consistent progress, providing feedback and guidance to help students grow confidently. I love seeing my students develop both skill and passion for music.
