About Uma
I am a PhD-qualified Chemistry tutor with over seven years of teaching experience, supporting students at university and professional levels. My main strength lies in industrial chemistry and core chemical engineering fundamentals. I teach topics such as reactor design, reaction kinetics, process control, and material and energy balances with strong conceptual clarity. Separation techniques including distillation, absorption, extraction, and membrane processes are explained using practical industrial logic. I focus on how chemistry is applied inside real manufacturing plants. Industrial case studies are regularly used to connect theory with production challenges and optimization. I also use process flow diagrams to help students visualize complete systems and understand how units interact. Concepts are taught step by step, making complex processes easier to grasp. My sessions emphasize efficiency, safety, and problem-solving skills needed in industry. I encourage analytical thinking rather than rote learning. My teaching approach in Chemistry is built on clarity, logic, and strong problem-solving skills. I begin by strengthening core concepts such as acid–base reactions, pH and pOH calculations, titration curves, and buffer systems. Chemical equilibrium, ionic equilibrium, and solubility product are taught step by step with clear reasoning. I connect theory with real-life and laboratory applications to make learning meaningful.
Students practice numerical problems regularly to build speed and accuracy. I focus on developing confidence in chemical calculations through guided practice and smart shortcuts. Special attention is given to competitive problem patterns useful for Olympiads and research-oriented thinking. Complex topics are broken into simple ideas that are easy to remember.
I encourage questions and logical thinking at every stage. Each learner is supported until concepts feel natural, not memorized. With consistent guidance, students gain the skills needed to excel in exams, competitions, and advanced studies.
