  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Chemistry has always fascinated me because it explains the world at its most fundamental level — how matter interacts, transforms, and sustains life. My interest began in school when I realized that chemistry isn’t just about reactions or equations; it’s the bridge between science and life itself. Also it surprise me with its facts about life and reactions that follows.Pursuing my Master’s in Organic Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University deepened my passion for understanding molecular structures and reaction mechanisms. Teaching this subject allows me to share that same curiosity and excitement with my students.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My motivation to teach comes from my own teachers who inspired me to think beyond textbooks and connect science with real life. Over the years, I’ve seen how the right explanation can turn confusion into confidence — and that transformation motivates me the most. I chose teaching because it gives me the chance to make complex concepts simple and enjoyable, and to empower students to believe that science is achievable for everyone.
  • How does your work help society?

As a teacher, I believe education is the most powerful tool for building a progressive society. By helping students strengthen their foundation in chemistry and science, I’m not only preparing them for exams but also nurturing future scientists, doctors, engineers, and thinkers. My teaching encourages critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving — essential skills for personal and societal growth.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

My role model is my university professor( V.K. TRIPATHI ) who is among the 2% scientists. He taught organic chemistry with such passion that every class felt like a discovery. His approach — connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world applications — inspired me to bring the same energy and clarity into my own teaching. He showed me that true teaching isn’t just delivering content but igniting curiosity.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside teaching, I enjoy creating educational posters and video lessons for my own platform. It allows me to blend creativity with education and reach students worldwide. I also love reading science-based books, writing short educational articles, and exploring new teaching tools that make learning more interactive. In my free time, I enjoy sketching, painting nature walks, and cooking my favourite dishes.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

One of my students once struggled deeply with chemistry, feeling it was “too tough.” I began by simplifying basic concepts and relating them to daily life examples. Within a month, her confidence grew — and she not only passed but got 80% n chemistry. Her message, “Ma’am, you made me fall in love with chemistry,” remains one of the most rewarding moments of my teaching journey. Experiences like these remind me why I chose this path — to make learning meaningful and enjoyable
