About Mitchell
I am a multi-disciplined Teacher/Trainer/Tutor/Life Coach working with 3rd grade through adult in the areas of writing/reading/social science/science and business. I have had classes where my students have improved on standardized testing as high as 2400% over the previous year's results. I have also worked with businesses and adults (individuals and groups) to increase their success by changing their habits and patterns.

I am a person who believes a teacher should be a facilitator more than a lecturer. I help my students to see
where they can improve and guide them in the actions necessary to achieve their success. They do the work to achieve their goals. I believe learning should be fun, interesting, and memorable. I use experiential lessons where possible and always go for real-world examples as I believe all learning should be grounded in useful reality.

Rates are 1hr- $45, 5hr upfront-40/hr, 10hr upfront- $35/hr for 3rd-4th grade lessons. 24-hour notification is requested for cancellation or the payment will be required.
I am sure there will be an improvement in student success over time if all suggestions are followed and the student practices what is learned.
