About Jeremy
I’ve been playing guitar for nearly 30 years, have been in original rock bands since I was 12, taught private lessons and run bands since I was in high school, toured as a frontman and lead guitarist since I was 19, playing major festivals such as Outside Lands, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Electric Forest, opening national tours for The Revivalists, Greensky Bluegrass, and Moon Taxi and selling out clubs in the Bay Area, where I grew up. Since lockdown I’ve also become an engineer and producer both in the studio and live, involved in over 50 releases on Spotify etc.

I use songs the student is interested in as a vehicle for learning theory, technique, melody, harmony, rhythm, dynamics, and all the other building blocks of developing as a musician, instrumentalist, and artist.
As a guitarist my specialty is writing and performing parts that are integral to the foundation of the song. This means we’ll learn what the guitarist actually played on the record, what sound they got, and how we can utilize that knowledge when creating our own parts for original music projects.
