Working with AP Biology and IB Biology students represents most of my weekly schedule. I often find that learners returning to science appreciate the structured perspective I offer as an MD candidate at Johns Hopkins. After supporting 39 students, I recognize exactly where DNA structure or homeostasis concepts cause confusion.
My experience allows me to break down photosynthesis and respiration so they feel intuitive rather than memorized. I enjoy connecting immunology basics and plant biology to the broader scope of evolution. Teaching mitosis and meiosis provides a great chance to clarify complex cycles for those tackling ecology.
