About Stephen
Stephen attended the University of California, San Diego after being accepted into the extremely competitive Medical Scholars (combined Bachelor's degree-MD) program, which typically accepted 10 to 15 students per year. While at the UCSD School of Medicine, he began to realize that his passion lay in teaching and working with younger students, thus he began a career in education.
During his high school years, Stephen took a full course-load of Honors, AP, and IB classes while playing sports year-round, serving as class/ASB President every year, and partaking in other clubs and activities, so he definitely understands how busy and stressful time it can be for students, especially with the pressures of getting into a competitive college. As he works with students, he strives to provide not only academic support but also inspiring mentorship.
Stephen has worked with thousands of students in his career as an educator, and their undergraduate acceptances include the most prestigious universities and colleges in the country. His past students include over 300 students who achieved perfect scores on SAT or ACT sections.
