About Laura
I have a deep passion for the traditional arts of healing and have been practising yoga since the early 1990s, when I first approached it as a way to manage a chronic lower back condition.
Over time, yoga became part of my daily life, and I experienced first-hand its powerful therapeutic effects. This led me to deepen my studies with experienced teachers, focusing on how yoga can support the well-being of body, mind and nervous system in a practical and accessible way.
I have completed over 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, alongside ongoing specialised courses, workshops and continuous study. My approach is further enriched by my practice of Traditional Thai Massage, which I integrate as part of a broader, holistic view of healing.
For more than 20 years, I have also incorporated mindfulness and meditation into my work, drawing from trainings and experiences in Italy, England and Thailand.
My teaching is gentle, therapeutic and tailored to the individual.
I work especially with:
people experiencing back pain or physical stiffness
those looking to reduce stress and improve sleep
older adults who want to maintain mobility and independence
Sessions are designed to be:
simple and accessible (also for beginners)
safe and respectful of each body

I work with individuals and teams to reduce pack pain, physical stiffness, stress and fatigue using a combination of gentle movement, breathwork and guided relaxation.
My approach is especially effective for adults 50 + and professionals with sedentary lifestyles.
Sessions are designed to be simple, safe and immediately beneficial and are ideal to address stress, back pain, difficulty sleeping, chronic pain and stiffness due to aging.

I have known Laura for a number of years now and was introduced to her as a yoga teacher. I had only ever been to one yoga class before and was a complete novice when I started learning with her. I have had 1-2-1 sessions and been a member of her group classes both in-person and online (especially during the last couple of years with Covid). Laura is also a practitioner of Thai Massage which she introduced me to and I am a fan of.
Laura is a lovely person and a great teacher. She always makes sure that she is aware of any aches or pains you may have as well as anything else that may be going on in your life that could affect your practice. She is very encouraging, reminds you to listen to your body and offers an alternative exercise/position if you're have an injury etc. The 1-2-1 sessions focus on what you want to achieve or need from the practice.
I highly recommend Laura because she is a lovely person, very easy to get on, very human and understanding but also 'nudges' you when she knows you can do more - but in a lovely way. On top of that, Laura is always learning and exploring - more about yoga, the body, breath work and meditation and different practices such as Thai Massage and the Bowen Technique (which I have also found incredibly helpful) and uses that knowledge to the benefit of you.
