About Sky
What I have learned from teaching for several years is that learning or teaching is never a one-way job. Teaching is as much of a learning experience for me as it is for the students, sometimes even more.
I understand that everyone learns differently. So my lessons are based on you and your needs. You will help me design the lessons that suit you. My job is to make the process as easy and fun for you as I can.

I believe learning is never a one-way job. Teaching is as much of a learning experience for me as it is for the students, sometimes even more. I'm excited to learn from you while you learn from me.
My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that every student has unique strengths and learning styles. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore their interests, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning.
I incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including inquiry-based learning, cooperative learning, and hands-on activities, to engage students and foster critical thinking skills.
Here are some examples:
- Direct instruction: I provide clear and concise explanations of grammar concepts and vocabulary terms.
- Active learning: I engage students in activities or games that help them to practice and apply what they are learning.
- Scaffolding: I provide support and guidance to students as they work on challenging tasks.
- Differentiation: I adapt my teaching to meet the individual needs of each student.
My lessons are for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. I also tutor students who are preparing for standardized tests. I am particularly interested in working with students who are learning English as a second language.
