I used to take bass lessons from him in the Church Curriculum, and I always tell him when I run into him, "You’re the person who made me understand that I have the 'key' this entire time," and he’s helped me tremendously to unlock the music within me. I wouldn’t recommend any better teacher than him, that is, if you actually desire to achieve. He doesn't mess around.
