About Renee
Piano became my primary language after I graduated from Berklee. The feeling of heavy mahogany keys under my fingers still grounds me after 13 years of playing.
I teach kids, intermediate learners, and working professionals who want to move beyond simple notes. My style is rooted in classical repertoire and theory, but I love contemporary sounds too.
Sight transposition and arpeggios are tools for expression rather than chores. I have taught 230 students over the years, helping them find their own sound. My approach is friendly and cross-cultural, reflecting my own background in Latin music. See you at the bench.

Many students get stuck when the left hand refuses to cooperate with the rhythm. Does it ever feel like your fingers are moving in two different worlds? I use my 13 years of experience to break down pedalling technique and complex scales into manageable steps. My BA in Latin American Music informs how I teach accompaniment skills and ear training.
We will work on your sight playing and music theory to build a solid foundation. My lessons for kids and adults alike prioritize the physical mechanics of playing. Whether you are tackling classical pieces or pop, we ensure your technique supports your musical voice. We will prepare you to play any song you love with confidence.
