About Marisa
ESL teacher since April 2016 with Asian students ( age 5-25) and eternally a student myself, I'm curious about sound and how language is composed by many sounds making up pictures in our heads. Let's discover what sounds mean, using music and artsy methods to unblock our shyness to express ourselves.

Non-formal but very structured session outlines with clear goals. The evaluation is the non-formal and stress-free part, where the student gets a sense of satisfaction whether he is right or wrong, because there is a trial and error but mostly effort. For example: e will sing together, reading the lyrics and I will make notes about sounds to improve. Then the student can record himself, and my version and we go over the sounds we hear differently, as to improve phonetics: reading, speaking as well our listening gets trained.
