About Gaetan
I have been practicing traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu since I was 5 years old (I'm 29), I am 4th dan and have been an instructor since I was 14 years old. In addition I practice judo, I have a few years of boxing and hold a diploma of instructor in FMA - system (Filipino Martial Arts). I master the locks as much technically as in practice, sticks and knife defenses. As much with weapons as with bare hands (with a greater expertise for the latter).

I assume that there is nothing more important than a good foundation, once you have that you can move towards using them in as many situations as possible. It also depends on what you are looking for: Self defense = simple movements that work on almost everything, Technical work = review of the basics and how to improve them. Do not hesitate to tell me what you are looking for.
