About Andreas
I'm a BEng Aerospace Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London. My current degree might be far from language studies, however I have always found learning and teaching a language fairly simple by following and implementing my own method.
I was born and raised in Greece, I have lived there for my whole life up until moving to London for my university studies. It's the language I've used the most, however I also speak English at home. This has enabled me to spot the countless similarities between the two languages.
I have attended multiple Model United Nations (MUN) conferences in multiple countries, both at high school and university level. The debating environment of MUN has made me understand how essential the correct use of language is and how much of a difference it makes to learn to use a language in a smart and direct way.

My way of teaching Greek revolves around understanding the meaning of every word my students learn and use. A language is learnt to be used, as such I focus on making sure my students will be able to both write and speak Greek just like a local would!
Whether you don't know a single word in Greek or you want to become more advanced, my method will help you reach your desired level. Greek is notorious for being a difficult language, however learning the etymology and roots of Greek words will enable you to rapidly progress and become confident in using the language. With use of images, correlations and effective examples during our lessons, I can assure you that learning Greek will be fun, interesting and straightforward!
Greek music, movies and books are an essential part of learning the language, which I encourage my students to explore. Not only will my recommendations accelerate your Greek language learning, they will give you a taste of Greek culture and provide an abundance of reasons for you to learn this beautiful language with me!
