The very first thing would be patience. My teaching methodology would dependant be on each individual student, based on what their needs are and where they struggle with the language.

I would make use of text books with pictures to show the students.
I would use objects around me to elaborate on what I am trying to say or explain.
I would not mind teaching 2 - 3 students at a time.
