Hey there! Here's a bit about me and why I'm passionate about teaching.
Background & Qualifications
I'm a practicing lawyer with nearly a year under my belt, having passed the Quebec Bar in 2022. Before that, I was the student you'd always find buried in books at the library. Not just any books—meticulously organized notes and materials that I personally crafted.
Challenges Overcome
But it wasn't always smooth sailing. I battled ADHD throughout my academic career, and when I started my undergraduate studies, my GPA reflected the struggle. However, resilience is my middle name. Within a single semester, I boosted my GPA by 1.2 points. How? By developing a repertoire of study techniques that not only worked for me but also have a proven track record of success for others.
Leadership & Mentorship
My love for academics and leadership converged when I served as the President of the Business Law Committee during my time at university. That experience, combined with consistent mentorship roles, has given me a holistic view of what students need and how to deliver it effectively.
Why I Teach
The journey from confused freshman to accomplished lawyer wasn't an easy one, but it gave me the tools to help others on similar paths. I know the ins and outs of acing exams, mastering subjects, and balancing it all with real-world responsibilities.
