About Filipa
I have a degree in Visual Arts and Design (ESE, Lisbon) and in 2020 I completed my Master's degree in Drawing (Fine Arts, Porto). Currently, I am looking for work both within and outside my field, but teaching drawing has always been an ongoing project for me. I work during the summer and have some experience working with children and finding didactic ways to explore their creativity. I focus on figurative drawing using materials such as graphite, charcoal, and oil pastels. I am positive and eager to teach (also available for painting lessons).

Drawing is a continuous learning process that depends on systematic practice. For this reason, each person's drawing level may vary. My classes depend on and are adjusted accordingly, according to the student's level and age. However, the basic points consist of: • practice and construction of a graphic diary • anatomy and proportions • creative practice • construction of a drawing project I provide materials during class time, but I advise purchasing basic materials after the first few classes.
