About Lucia
Hello!
I introduce myself! I am Lucía Sasiain, a second year medical student. I am a proactive, responsible, spirited person and I faithfully believe that all of us, teachers and students, have many things to teach each other.
I have experience with private classes for 1 year. I have taught English, Mathematics, Basque, among others, to children and young people of various ages. The way I teach all my classes, regardless of the subject, are based on what my student needs; I consider flexibility to be one of the best qualities for a teacher.
I really try to keep my classes lively and not overly repetitive. The latter depends on the type of subject, the difficulty, the age of the student ... Some subjects, such as languages, can be practiced speaking, playing, listening to songs, watching series ... while, if it is about science, it is important to give practical examples to understand how this science works in real life to understand it well!
Even so, there are many ways to teach, and I like to try various ways until I find the one that best suits the student.
[ N] In addition, it is essential that teacher and student get along well and that communication is fluent in order to adapt each class to each moment. And that is precisely why I consider a test class important to know what the student is like.
Having said all this, I really want to meet future students, to teach them many things and for them to teach me too! !

Second year student of the Degree in Medicine with experience in English classes. With a C2 (Proficiency) level accredited by the University of Cambridge.
I have lived as an exchange student with a host family for several months in the United States and have therefore been in contact with native children and adolescents!
I see very important a first test class to meet my students, know their dynamics, their rhythms, etc. and thus focus the classes to each student.
I am eager to teach English step by step using dynamic and effective resources !! Cannot wait to meet my students :)
