About Ruby
I have over 5 years of experience as a Mathematics tutor and hold an MPhil in Mathematics. My teaching focuses on helping students overcome anxiety and gain confidence in math. I believe in a holistic approach that combines skill-building with emotional support. I use growth mindset techniques to encourage persistence. Lessons are paced according to the student’s needs. Positive reinforcement creates a welcoming learning environment. I especially enjoy supporting learners who have struggled or feel overwhelmed. My method focuses on clarity, simplicity, and confidence. I want students to enjoy mathematics, not fear it.
