About Seungwoo
I am a classically trained pianist with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano, and I teach because I believe great piano education builds confidence, discipline, and musical depth. I teach with clarity and high standards, while remaining supportive and encouraging.
I have a proven record of guiding students from ABRSM Grade 1 to Grade 8, with many achieving Merits and Distinctions. My lessons are personalised, focused, and designed to help each student reach their full potential.
I love teaching because I enjoy seeing students grow—not just as pianists, but as confident and expressive musicians.

My piano lessons are carefully structured, highly personalised, and designed to develop both strong technical foundations and refined musical expression. I teach with confidence and clarity, drawing on my professional training and extensive teaching experience to guide students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced pianists.
I have a proven track record of success, with students consistently achieving Merits and Distinctions in ABRSM examinations from Grades 1 through 8. Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals—whether exam preparation, repertoire development, or personal enjoyment—and focus on healthy technique, musical understanding, and confident performance.
During lessons, we work in depth on tone production, articulation, phrasing, rhythm, sight-reading, and effective practice strategies. I emphasise understanding the music beyond the notes, helping students build discipline, confidence, and independence at the piano.
Above all, my lessons are supportive, motivating, and inspiring. I aim to create an environment where students feel challenged yet encouraged, making consistent progress while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.
