About Becky
I am a 23 year old working Actor/Director/Writer and trained English Literature Graduate and have been working in an inner city primary school for the past 16 months. I have tutored English previously, facilitated drama workshops, and led group acting lessons. I am comfortable with teaching one to one and within a group setting. My specialities would be in Shakespeare, Modern literature, Essay structure and writing style, GCSE/A LEVEL English aswell as Primary and Secondary general English language/literature support, and Phonics.

I don't believe that there is only one way to getting the results you want- Everyone is different and learns in different ways! When tutoring, I think it's important to be led by my pupil's abilities and needs, and work at a pace, and in a style, that is comfortable for them until they become confident enough to do so independently. I would be happy to discuss an ideal setting/structure/schedule of revision (for example) with my pupils, as I think it's important to adapt to each person's different needs. My sessions are usually informal and friendly, but with a dedicated agenda to get the most out of the individual I'm working with!
