About Amber
And now for introductions!
My name is Amber Deasy and I am a professional actor, playwright and director, originally from West Cork. I have trained extensively as an actor and hold a BA in Theatre & Drama Studies Degree from the MTU Cork School of Music, and an MA in Acting from ArtsEd London. I have performed in theatres in London and Ireland, and directed my own writing and theatre.
Being an actor is a vulnerable act - I understand this better than anyone. It can feel like a really scary thing and too long a journey to embark on...that's why it's better not to do it alone.
The coaching I offer is informed by all the experience I have had as an actor and the techniques, skills and work I studied while in training. I love working with actors - watching someone unlock their craft and experience something is a great joy of mine. I look forward to working with you!

Lessons are tailored for your needs and your goals. Everyone is different!
Using my 6+ years of experience as a professional actor, a BA in Theatre & Drama Studies (1.1) and MA in Acting from ArtsEd (1.1) - I offer actor coaching that is detailed and focused on deepening your own craft.
Whether you are beginning your journey applying for drama schools (I've been there!) and need help working on monologues and audition technique - or you're an actor who wants to improve certain skills like script analysis, text work, audition preparation, self-taping or voice work. I can help guide you to a place where you feel ready to take on whatever acting challenge is being thrown your way!
Sessions can either be done online or in person (depending on your location and availability) and last 1 hour. Your first session is free and we can see if we are a good fit and discuss goals and what you'd like to work on.
Ages 17+ and any level is welcome!
