About John
I’m a professional actor originally from Scotland and now living in London. As well as working in theatre and audio drama I work consistently in film and TV in shows like The Victim (BBC), Outlander (Amazon), Lovesick (Netflix) and Unforgotten (ITV). I am represented for acting by Curtis Brown Group.

Ultimately for me it’s about making the scene/speech/character truthful.
I make each class bespoke to the individual client. If it’s an audition coaching session then we’ll work through the character, background, history and speech itself. I draw a lot of my knowledge from Stanislavsky and Sanford Meisner. It draws on what some might call Method Acting but it’s all about connection and honesty.
