About Haven
My name is Haven Kahn! I am a student at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA pursuing a degree in saxophone performance. I love playing the saxophone and performing, and I will gladly answer any questions you may have! I can also teach music theory lessons so you can better understand what you are playing.

I base my teaching on fundamentals; without proper control of basic techniques like scales, light articulation, and proper embouchure, you won’t be able to play even simple repertoire. With me, you will not only better understand how to control the instrument through scale routines and exercises, you will also learn well known pieces for the saxophone, expanding your knowledge of the instrument and what it has to offer.
