About Caitlin
Hello, my name is Caitlin and I have been teaching and directing theatre since I was 13. That may sound like a bit of a stretch, but I promise that it is true. I began directing Shakespeare at a young age and discovered a passion for helping students understand and bring to life text that initially seemed frightening.
Since then I have worked as a Drama Specialist in summer camps, worked professionally as a director and actor, graduated from Marymount Manhattan with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Directing, and completed The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama MA Acting - Classical Program.
I know firsthand how daunting the drama school audition process can be and I approach teaching and coaching with the empathy and excitement that I believe my students deserve.

I offer personalized audition coaching for acting and musical theatre performance. Together we will identify your goals (target schools, programs, etc.) and work to find material that shows off what makes you an exciting and valuable addition to a course. From there, I will create a roadmap that includes sourcing material, memorization, acting coaching, and common audition questions.
