About Viktoriya

Hello! My name is Viktoriya, and I am a Deaf American Sign Language (ASL) teacher with many years of experience teaching students of different ages and backgrounds.

I am originally from Ukraine/Russia and now live in Toronto, Canada. ASL is an important part of my life, and I truly enjoy sharing my language, culture, and experiences with others.

Besides teaching ASL, I am also a Deaf interpreter and professional visual artist. I love creativity, meeting new people, and helping others learn something meaningful.

I am patient, friendly, and passionate about teaching. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I always encourage my students to relax, ask questions, and enjoy the learning process.

For me, teaching ASL is more than just a job. It is about connecting people, building understanding, and breaking down communication barriers.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing the beautiful world of ASL!

About the lesson

I am a Deaf ASL teacher, and I love sharing my language and culture with others. I enjoy helping students feel comfortable and confident as they learn to communicate in American Sign Language.

I use the Signing Naturally curriculum for all levels, from beginners to advanced students. My lessons include everyday conversations, vocabulary, grammar, facial expressions, and Deaf culture.

I believe everyone learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to each student's needs and pace. I am patient, friendly, and always happy to answer questions.

My goal is to make learning ASL enjoyable, natural, and meaningful. I want my students to feel confident using ASL in real-life situations, not just memorizing signs.

I offer personalized online lessons for adults, and I look forward to helping you on your ASL learning journey!
