About Steven

I believe that all students can succeed in math. All they need is to see and understand the math rather than just memorizing some boring steps. As a retired college math professor I can certainly help any student 'see' the math rather than memorizing it.

Unlike many educators, I do NOT have my degrees in education. My degrees are in Mathematics, the subject I tutor in!

This means that I have been trained to think mathematically, something that I will teach my students to do.

I am a retired college math professor. I used to say that I saw it all but now I say that I saw it all twice. I also have over 10,000 hours or tutoring experience.

About the lesson

Getting to know what my student knows and what their weaknesses are as well as learning what pace I need to tutor at.
