About Jesse

I am a graduate in Philosophy, specialising in ethics and political philosophy. I have experience working in education as a Teaching Assistant, a role which required me to teach a range of subjects to students of ages 11-18. I am very flexible, and capable of teaching most humanities subjects within this age range.

About the lesson

My teaching method will put faith in the student's own powers of comprehension and understanding, emphasising the creative ability of the student when dealing with conceptual problems. This allows for freedom when approaching the content: I will not limit my students to one way of thinking or learning.

Jesse tutored me for my philosophy a level last year and was fantastic. He made the subject much more approachable and guided me in my essay writing bumping my grade average from solid B’s to A*’s. I highly recommend him as a tutor.

Jesse tutored me for my History and English A levels and was a great teacher. His lessons were very well planned and methodical, yet with a fun approach. I would highly recommend him if you want to succeed academically!
