My name is Cameron Essam I am a seasoned professional in the world of performing arts, honing his craft at the prestigious BRIT School for performing arts & The East 15 Acting School. With a remarkable Distinction*** in Theatre and a 2:1 BA in Acting, my skills & dedication have led to five impressive years of professional experience in Theatre, Film, TV, and Commercials. My prime methodology is to work using fun, play & failure. I think the best work is created when everyone is having a good time & are not afraid to fail.
For drama school auditions/ Acting Lessons:
I like to work with the text first. Breaking down text, discussing & finding your understanding of the story & the character.
Then I like to work on the piece up on it’s feet using various practical exercises to help build the character, polish & refine the performance.
For Lamda Coaching:
I tutor for Lamda exams from Introductory - Grade 8.
Again, my methodology is based in fun & play using theatre games to teach performance techniques required for Lamda exams for earlier grades.
I provide all the materials needed and help source material for students doing higher grades.
I work methodically to hit every criteria Lamda examiners are looking, when examining the students work.
I have been trained in acting by The BRIT School for performing arts gaining Distinction*** in Theatre & as well as training for 3 years at The East 15 Acting School gaining a 2:1 BA Acting. I have been acting since I was a child & have been working professionally for 5 years working across Theatre, Film, TV & Commercial.
I have experience in LAMDA coaching having previously ran the LAMDA Exam tutoring for students at Ursuline Predatory School Wimbledon.
My Lesson length is an hour & are open to all levels. I work with students from ages 4 onwards.
