About Carolyn
I am a profound Deaf. I have been to the mainstream, Deaf Program, and Deaf school all mixed. My degree was in American Sign Language Studies. I also attended Gallaudet University (the first Deaf university in the world) to received Communication Studies and Masters in Public Administration.

I have knowledge of Deaf history and Deaf Culture. I also can tell Deaf jokes, which is different than hearing jokes. In addition, the students play the Deaf Games, which includes ASL. I teach linguistics, which is ASL grammar.
