About Kerrie
I started out in the nursing world as a CNA for hospice and volunteered in the ED. I did that up until I had my first kid. I waited until they were both full-time in school to come back to it and go to school. I was really worried about the 12-year gap since I was last in school, but I surprised myself. Through a lot of trial and error and learning how to better work with ADHD, I finally found my skill set, and I really enjoy helping out my fellow students. I have made the dean's list every semester and have officially joined Sigma Theta Tau. These are achievements that, if you had told me was possible before I started nursing school, I would have started much sooner. You can do more than you think, and you are smarter than you believe.

I use a variety of methods to learn and remember content and skills. No one method works for every subject or topic, so I like to adapt to what I am learning or teaching. As someone who has personally struggled with trying every possible method to learn and has wasted many hours trying methods that don't work, I am here for you. I will not only help you learn the material but see if I can help you find methods of study/learning that work for you. I can work with nursing students up to the NR 300 level and prerequisite classes.
I love to help people, so feel free to bring me anything you need help with to help you succeed.
