About Andrew
I majored in history from the University of Maryland with a focus on American pre-Civil War history. I wrote my thesis on the ratification of the Constitution. I also received a degree in politics because I don't think you can understand American history without understanding the politics that shaped it.

I prefer helping middle and high school students. I believe in meeting students at their level and giving them the tools to learn history and be interested in it. History is more than just memorizing obscure dates and names, it's about understanding history and how it still affects us.
