I have taught classes at both the secondary and post secondary level for over a decade. In that time, I have been nominated for departmental teaching awards and have consistently fostered success in my students.
I am a certified teacher with a B.Ed. on top of my Ph.D. in history. I am also certified to teach English at a secondary level.

Historical thinking principles are at the centre of my teaching pedagogy. From the principles of cause and effect, historical significance, to the ethical dimension of history, a typical lesson will explore such topics and begin to build the foundations of historical thinking for continued success at any level. Whether it be prep for an exam, or fostering best practices for degree completion, I will meet you where ever you are at and build from there.
