About Ruby

Hi there, my name is Ruby and I am currently studying my A-levels at Sixth Form (History, Politics and Psychology) with the eventual goal of entering the legal field, and I am passionate about helping others to learn and succeed. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grasp difficult concepts and progress in their abilities and their confidence. Tutoring offers me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing personalised support and creating a positive learning environment. I enjoy breaking down complex topics in ways that make them more accessible and engaging, and I believe that every student has the potential to thrive with the right guidance and encouragement. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in History, English Language, Sociology and a grade 8 in Maths. Having completed GCSEs not so long ago myself, I find this benefits my tuition levels, as I feel more connected and up to date with current exam specifications.

About the lesson

Offering lesson lengths from 1 hour with a flexible schedule, with a student-based focus looking at building on weaknesses in different areas of the curriculum. Ideal for students from years 10 and 11 for English Language and Sociology, and students from year 9 onwards for Maths and History.

Ruby is very knowledgeable about maths and English GSCE content, and combined with her friendly and engaging approach means she can quickly help people with tuition services. Our son found it really useful to have Ruby help with his maths, and he found the methods she showed him really effective, building his confidence and speeding up his pace. I would recommend Ruby without hesitation.

Ruby has provided exceptional support for my daughter during her GCSE studies. I was particularly impressed by her proactive approach in identifying her weak points and systematically addressing each topic in order of priority. This strategy not only raised her confidence but also encouraged her to explore the subject more broadly.

My daughter has shown significant improvement in her subject knowledge, and I truly appreciate Ruby’s patience and dedication. She offers great value for money, and I highly encourage any parents considering tutoring for their child to reach out to her.
