About Dalziel
Why should you choose me?
I am dedicated to YOU. With my knowhow, I can speed track your way to a 9 at GCSE in any subject I offer tutoring in. Furthermore, I offer custom tailored homework for free! This includes problems and worksheets hand-selected for your needs as well as past paper questions to familiarize my tutees with exam difficulty and develop their technique, giving them the calm and collected edge needed for a grade 9 in the real thing. (And for the boring credentials bit): I am currently a year 12 pupil at Westminster school and have achieved straight 9's for GCSE.
P.s. In case you think my words are waffle, I offer my first lesson up for you to try me out free of charge for any new tutee!

Details:
Lesson Structure: The first 15/30 minutes will be devoted to explanation. Whether your child is learning new content or grasping something they didn't quite get in class I will explain it to them in an easy manageable format making big concepts seem simple.
The second chunk of the lesson is devoted to putting the first half into practice. Active learning is crucial, so tutees write answers to questions I set based on the itinerary of the first half. Mind maps and past paper questions are key to active learning. Additionally, familiarising your child with the style of exam questions will help your child to learn exam technique and make the exam feel less stressful when they sit it.
My tutoring sessions take 30-60 minutes based on the need and ability of the tutee
