About Wilken
My name is Wilken, I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in Chemistry from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), and I completed my doctorate in Physical Chemistry at the University of Lille, France. Remember that student who always had the class reference notebook, who was always in the library studying and asking questions after class? That was me! During my academic career, I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for basic chemistry subjects, and even for more advanced subjects like quantum chemistry, which I explored in depth during my doctorate. During this particular period, I had the opportunity to teach bilingual classes (English/French), a challenge I greatly enjoyed, and I recently obtained a qualification to apply for positions in French higher education. The teaching experiences I've developed, alongside my research career, have honed my patience, adaptability, and genuine desire to see students understand. If you need a patient, organized, and motivating teacher, you can count on me. I'm here to make even the most complex content accessible and meaningful for you.

My classes are fully adapted to the student's needs, so that we can tackle the problem at hand together: understanding phenomena, solving exercises, reviewing for college entrance exams, competitive exams, and the ENEM (Brazilian National High School Exam). And if necessary, we can work in English or French if you are a bilingual student. For each of these cases, I will look for the best resources to prepare you for your challenge! The important thing is that you don't just memorize the content, but that you understand it and don't fall into potential traps. I am known for my patience and I am passionate about simplifying natural sciences through everyday examples. It's possible, and it's fun!
