About Mathieu
Hello, I'm Mathieu! I studied economics-modern languages at the Sint-Pieters Institute Ghent and completed my study with a preparatory education in Musical at the "Kunsthumaniora! Antwerp". I studied Musical Theater at the "Royal Conservatory of Brussels" (2015-2019). Currently I follow an Educational bachelor musical. (2019 - 2021) At school I played roles such as Pippin in "Pippin" and in "Jekyll and Hyde" as bishop, ensemble and understudy Jekyll and Hyde. I also performed at "De Musical Jam" in Ghent. I work(ed) as a swing and ensemble in "De Spektakelmusical '40-'45" and as ensemble in "Daens" both musicals from Studio100. At the moment I am performing in two educational performances of "Uitgezonderd Theater Producties".
As a teacher: I teach musical-singing lessons and Drama, acting, story-telling at Knokke (MAAK open house for the arts.)

I consider myself a strict but fair teacher. My strengths are teaching technique, voice tricks, and song interpretation. - A lesson starts with a short vocal warm-up (working on technique) - Then we work on a song of your choice (building up a repertoire) - We end with some feedback and a "cool-down".
