About Simeon

Jambo! I am Simeon Ayienda Nyakundi, a friendly and patient native Swahili tutor from Nairobi, Kenya.

I grew up speaking Swahili every day, and I love helping people from around the world connect with our beautiful language and culture. I decided to teach because I have seen how hard it is for foreigners to learn real street Swahili, not just textbook words.

I want to make Swahili simple, fun, and useful for you. My goal is to help you speak confidently in just a few weeks, whether you are traveling, working in Kenya, or married to a Kenyan. I will be your patient guide and friend on this journey. Karibu sana to my class.

My name is Simeon Ayienda Nyakundi, a graduate from university of Nairobi in Kenya a native Swahili speaker born and raised in Nairobi.

I am passionate about teaching real, everyday Swahili that you can use immediately in the market, with friends, and at work. I specialize in helping complete beginners, travelers, expats, and busy professionals speak confidently.
