About
I graduated with a Master’s in History from the University of Edinburgh in August and will begin a role in investigative journalism this coming September. While I prepare for that next chapter, I’m keen to put my skills to use by helping students build confidence, discipline, and genuine interest in history. Alongside my academic work, I’ve spent time trekking across Anatolia and the Himalayas and training in Muay Thai—experiences that have taught me patience, curiosity, and focus, all of which shape my tutoring approach today.

My approach to tutoring combines genuine historical curiosity with focused exam preparation. I encourage students to find interest in overlooked details and broader narratives, making history feel alive and relevant. Alongside this, I teach structured essay-writing and exam-specific techniques that build both academic confidence and critical thinking. With a Master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh and a broad range of historical interests—from medieval Europe to modern geopolitics—I tailor each session to the student’s needs, helping them grow as thinkers, not just test-takers.
