Hi! I'm Dr. Isis Thomas, a PhD Biomedical Scientist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Georgia with a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
I believe every student learns differently. My goal isn't just to help with homework—it's to build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and help students become independent learners.
Whether your child needs extra support, wants to get ahead, or is preparing for college, I create personalized lessons that match their learning style and academic goals.

Why families choose me:
️ PhD Biomedical Scientist with years of teaching and mentoring experience
️ Patient, encouraging, and easy to work with
️ Personalized lesson plans—no one-size-fits-all approach
️ Focus on understanding concepts, not memorizing answers
️ Strong communication with both students and parents
️ Flexible in-person (Jefferson/Athens, GA) and virtual tutoring
My philosophy is simple:
"Little wins now lead to big rewards later." By helping students master small concepts one step at a time, we build the confidence and skills they need for long-term success.
