About Kavya
Hello! My name is Kavya, and I am a PhD researcher at the School of Public Health at the University of Queensland, where my research focuses on climate change, air pollution, and health. I have always been passionate about science and enjoy helping students understand complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging way.
I completed my schooling under the CBSE board in India, achieving a 10 CGPA in Grade 10 and 95% in Grade 12 with a strong focus on science subjects. I then pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, where I studied Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Following this, I completed my Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, graduating as a Gold Medalist.
With this strong academic background and my current research experience, I bring both conceptual clarity and real-world scientific understanding into my teaching. My goal is to help students build strong foundations in Biology, Environmental Science, and general Science, while also developing confidence and curiosity in the subject.
I offer structured and supportive online lessons tailored to each student’s learning needs. Whether you are preparing for school exams, strengthening your understanding of science topics, or looking for guidance in environmental studies or biology, I aim to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

I believe that science becomes truly interesting when students understand the concepts rather than memorizing them. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals in Environmental Science, Biology and general Science by simplifying complex topics and connecting them with real-world examples such as climate change, ecosystems, and human health.
Each lesson is interactive and structured according to the student’s level and learning style. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, identifying conceptual gaps, and then designing lessons that gradually build clarity and confidence. I also emphasize problem-solving, exam strategies, and critical thinking so that students are well prepared for both coursework and examinations.
A typical lesson is around 60 minutes, which includes concept explanation, examples, discussion, and practice questions. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so that learning becomes engaging and stress-free.
