I believe it is necessary to tailor sessions to the individual. Some children progress better with visual aids, others through a verbal style of teaching and some through the written word. It is vital to recognise the individual style of the learner and use one on one sessions to bring out each person's potential. I am enthusiastic and patient. I believe it is important to engage with my students and make learning fun and interesting. I have a natural rapport with children and teenagers which is vital in the process of building their knowledge and confidence.
